Doctors
Dr. Alan D. Martin, DVM
Following graduation from Clemson University in 1979, Dr. Martin obtained his D.V.M. degree from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He began building All Creatures Great and Small Animal Hospital in 1985, and it officially opened it's doors on January 6, 1986. His wife, Miriam, who holds a degree in math and has over twenty years experience in bookkeeping, is the bookkeeper for the practice. The Martins have three children, Meredith, Melanie, and Michael. The Martin clan extends to their two Labrador Retrievers, Clancy and Holly, two chihuahuas, Hattie and Snoopy, and a cat named Penny.
Technicians
Ms. Marsha A. Tumblin, LVT
All Creatures gained Marsha in October of 2001. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Erskine College and an Associate Degree in Health Science with a major in Veterinary Technology from Tri-County Technical College. She has over 20 years experience in the veterinary profession. Marsha enjoys Nascar racing (especially Kasey Kahne!) and taking care of her 5 horses, 2 dogs, and cat.
Mrs. Summer A. Harris
Summer has been with All Creatures since January of 2006. She attended Clemson University for three years, working on a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Veterinary Science. She married her husband, Branyon, in 2007 and they had a baby boy in October 2009. They have a Boston Terrier, Ben, and an orange tabby cat, Crazy Ed.
Kaile Matthews
Kalie is one of our weekend kennel technicians, and since October 2010 has been working with us as a technician assistant. She has two dogs, Snowy and Keiko. Katie is currently pursuing an education in veterinary technology.Reception
Mrs. Alison S. McCall
All Creatures was pleased to have Alison come aboard in August of 2004. She has two sons and a daughter, and two furry feline children named Mr. B. and Binky. She and her husband Buddy enjoy travelling and riding Buddy's motorcycle together.
Mrs. Angie Ward
Angie became a member of the staff at All Creatures in January 2005 as a technician. After taking some time off, she has now fills in part-time as a receptionist. She enjoys hiking, gardening, crafts, sewing, and pet-sitting. She and her husband love to hike and pamper their two dogs, Bailey and Madison.
Kennel
Sara Spivey
Sara is our full time kennel technician and has been with us since June 2010. She loves caring for our boarders and has two dogs of her own, Bitsy and Lucy. Sara is currently enrolled in the Vet Assistance Program at Greenville Technical college.
